Marianne Halberg's works
We have collected Marianne Halberg's works with her eternal theme, "Who am I?" as a featured theme. This time, we are also releasing new exhibits from the "I Am Here" exhibition held in October 2023.
Marianne's works are divided into 2 types: ``Artist Original Works,'' which are handmade by Marianne one by one in her workshop in Sweden, and ``Japan Series'', which are manufactured in a workshop in Japan based on her own prototypes and supervision. There are two lines. In this special feature, we have collected the former "artist's original works". These pieces are produced in small numbers and are completely unique, with no two being the same. This is a valuable work that lets you feel what the artist was looking at and how his imagination takes shape, along with the artist's breathing.

Who am I? Number 2
Who am I? I wonder who it is.
Marianne's eternal theme is "Who am I?" For her first solo exhibition in Japan, she created a piece that is exactly like ``Who am I?'' This is her first mirror work. ``There are times when I look at myself in the mirror and wonder who that person is.'' The mystery of who I am will probably never be solved. However, there is nothing that fascinates us as much as solving mysteries.
Word Plate (I'm the Queen of Nothing)
``I am the Queen of Nothing.'' This is Marianne's current answer to her eternal theme, ``Who am I?'' I have nothing to be proud of, I don't own anything, but this is my proud statement.
Empty cans are my legend.
Empty cans are my legend.
Rather than condemning empty cans as environmental polluters, Marianne makes a vase in their shape and defends empty cans, muttering hints for a new way of coexistence. Once upon a time, empty cans were a magical invention that was greeted with applause. This vase is a stark reminder that if you are recommending her retirement to a legend, she should be treated with the gratitude and treatment she deserved.
