100%cotton and slightly through the other side, so it dries quickly just by spreading it and drying it a little. Even drying the room dries enough, so you can wash it even on rainy days.

Kyu -Sai's genius

When wiping fingers and sweat or used as a cloth, it is 100%cotton so it absorbs moisture quickly. If it is wet and squeezed, it will be very useful for cleaning. The feature is that the more you use it, the more the fabric is and the softer, and the higher the water absorption power.

Genius everywhere

A small knife!

By the way, we have been waiting! It is an introduction of friends of new size. This year, I made a half -sized mini towel of normal towel. The size is easy to put in a pocket, making it even more convenient to carry.
There are three designs: Eleonol Bostolom, Donna Wilson, and Marianne Harberg.

The beginning was Tanugu.

The JAPAN series now has become a standard tonkachistore. This series creates original products unique to Japan by forming a team of artists, tonkachi, and workshops from all over Japan, which inherit Japanese traditional technologies. The towel was the first memorable item.

The towel is a series of surprises when you use it. Anyway, it can be used for various purposes, it is beautiful and above all fun! The towel was also a crystal of the wisdom and aesthetic sense of Japanese life.

Tonkachi, who has been made, used, and has been attracted to its charm, has released a new work every year. Because I want everyone to know this splendor!

And the production has arrived from the studio in Kyoto, which always dyes wonderfully. The warmth, blur and unevenness, come true because it is manual.

Tanugui Genius History

Part 1:
It is said that the towel is an item with a long history that has continued since the Nara era.

Part 2:
In the old days, flat fabrics, which had been used as the gimmicks of the Shinto and Buddhas and the festival, became popular among the common people due to the increase in cotton cultivation in the Edo period.

Part 3:
In general, at the same time, not only use in scenes involved in the gods and Buddha, but also the use of hand wiping, using the front hanging, and increasing uses. It was used like a curtain to block the sunshine, and its multi -talented continued since the Edo period.

Part 4:
When the technology of dyeing is improved, toweling is also attracting attention as a fashion item. The consciousness of competing for the stylishness of the pattern and color will also sprout. Tekui was also used as an individual identity.

Part 5:
In the Meiji era, the import of Western towels and handkerchiefs, and toweling will gradually be treated as a past.

Part 6:
However, the towel culture continues without constant. And in modern times, the practicality of towels and the stylish designs have attracted attention again, and the culture has been re -evaluated.
