She will sadly pass away in 2024 at the age of 92. This is an intimate and emotional documentary in which Lisa's granddaughter and film director Emilia Ekman Larsson looks at her grandmother in her later years.
The story of how she met and parted ways with her husband Gunnar Larsson, a painter who has been her partner in life and creation for over 70 years, her deep love for her children and grandchildren, and the journey she took to become a ceramist loved by many people who produced numerous hit works at Gustavsberg, Sweden's proud ceramic manufacturer. Guided by Emilia's curious gaze, Lisa looks back on her life. A young woman who looks up to her grandmother and has just begun to explore her career as an artist, and a woman who is heading toward the end of her life. Through a dialogue between the two artists, the joys and conflicts of creating and the meaning of life emerge. LiLiCo, a movie commentator from Sweden and close friends with the Larson family, will be in charge of Japanese subtitles for a theatrically released movie for the first time!
