Stig Lindberg joined the ceramics manufacturer Gustavsberg in 1937. Lindberg's leaf pattern design ``Bersa'' is one of the masterpieces known all over the world. The bright, stylish, and fantasy-filled design gives you the feel of lively Scandinavian design.
This exhibition is the first large-scale exhibition in Japan to comprehensively introduce Lindberg's charms, from the exquisite tableware of Scandinavian design to faience, one-of-a-kind art pieces and textiles, picture book illustrations, and even sketches.
