The collection of works by Lester Bangs, Tonkachi's life's work, has finally been published.
Therefore, a limited time bar “BAR_Nannoot?” (a bar that Tonkachi started on a whim) to hold a publication commemoration party.
The title is ``What Night With Lester Bangs?'' While drinking Swedish wine or Swedish whiskey at an unbelievable event special price, these were the sounds Lester must have heard, released before his death on April 30, 1982. Let's experience the passion of the times while listening to the best music selected with the theme!
Guest DJ Takahashi, host of Daikanyama's sacred place "BAR CRIMJON" (this is not CRIMSON), which is said to be the conscience of rock musicJUKOInvited.
Mr. HO of Power Shovel (Tonkachi's predecessor company), who pushed Tonkachi to publish this book, will be out in public and playing music for the first time in a while. Please join us for the first and last collaboration between Rock, Leicester, Swedish Wine, Tonkachi, Power Shovel, and Daikanyama!
Individuals are welcome. Even if you don't know much about music or wine, there's no need to worry about whether you'll enjoy it!

What the Night? — A Lester Bangs Celebration
TONKACHI’s long-running behind-the-scenes passion project — the Japanese edition of Lester Bangs’ collected writings — is finally being published.
To celebrate, we’re throwing a publication party at our pop-up venue, BAR_NANNO OTO?, a temporary bar we opened (as usual) on a whim.
The event is titled: “What the Night? — A Lester Bangs Celebration.”
We’ll be serving Swedish wine and Swedish whisky at outrageously special event prices.
And we’ll be spinning nothing but tracks released before April 30, 1982 — the day Lester passed.
That means: only the music Lester might actually have heard. Only the sounds he could have written about.
Guest DJ for the night is Takahashi JUKO, the legendary host of BAR CRIMJON (yes, it’s “CRIMJON,” not “CRIMSON”) — Daikanyama’s own rock ‘n’ roll conscience.
And emerging from the shadows, HO from PowerShovel (TONKACHI’s predecessor company, and the one who made us publish this book) will be stepping out into the world again to spin records.
Rock, Lester, Swedish wine, TONKACHI, PowerShovel, and Daikanyama — all coming together, maybe for the first and last time.
