[About pot]
Based on the elephant teapot designed by Lisa Larson in the 1980s, it was made in Seto Yaki (Aichi Prefecture). Lisa's message, "If you can take care of a cup of tea, it's peaceful." Lisa had always been more, but in recent years she had a strong desire for peace, and expressed her attitude with a straight name "pot for peace."

[About design]
The good points of the design at that time were as much as possible, and I designed the current Lisa idea and designed it. By changing the handle of the lid into an owl, it compares the owl standing on the back of a large elephant, imagining a scene where large and small coexisting coexist. We aimed for a size that is one size smaller than the original, and aimed at the size that is easier to use on a daily basis at a Japanese dining table.

The capacity of this pot is 450 ml, about two and a half cups in a general cup. It's just a good amount for tea time in the afternoon. If you look at the pot from the right side, it is a private point that the elephant and owl's eyes are somehow matched. It seems to be fun to prepare the table set in an exotic atmosphere.
