"Night birds may bring out your most unbridled and free part. It may have been silent all the time." (Cremon Tine)
[From the staff]
8th night: Night Bird
A girl who becomes a bird only at night. No one knows.
These small series were requested by Tonkachi to the first solo exhibition in Cremontine. She remakes her casts in recent works in a smaller size (we call this a fairy size). By changing the size of the work, the happy humor and innocent friendliness appear in the front, making it a fun work in her work and a cute work. Like a small guide who invites you to a vast forest, this small work is delivered like a seasonal appetizer before a full -fledged dinner. * Cremontine de Shabanex held her first solo exhibition in September 2022 in September 2022 at the gallery "Nogiri" (Shibuya -ku, Tokyo) as a new artist.
[About the author]
Clémentine de Chabaneix(Cremontine de Shabanex)
Cremontine de Shabanex was born in 1972 in Nui -Sur -Cene on the outskirts of Paris. Her parents are actors, and her grandparents are global sculptors Claude Lannu and François Gozavier Langanne. Her career began with theater, she learned drawing, paintings, and sculptures, and she turned to pottery. Her grandmother, Claude Langanne, inherits her techniques and arrives at her unique expression. "Her work is full of signs to evoke something, like a dream that cannot be recorded, as in the memories of being unable to regenerate. It is always near the fragile of human beings. Cremontine. The work reminds me of the joy and fear that I felt when I was a child, and continues to shake what I see. "
