[About the product]
What does a "hakobuka bottle" carry?
What do you deliver and to whom in a bag-shaped vase? This vase is inspired by a "travel" and a "gift", and it is a vase of delusion and wonder, where you can hear a voice saying that if you put a single flower in a "hakobuka bottle" I will fly at any time. With "Hakobukabin", flowers move, travel moves, freedom moves, and mind moves. I can hear Marianne's voice saying that fun and beautiful things should travel around the world.

[About "Hakobukabin"]
We made a "Hakobuka Bottle" based on Marianne's ceramic plate, which is a three-dimensional flat style that Marianne specializes in. The interesting paradox is that the ceramic plate, which is made into a flat-dimensional work, is further layered into a three-dimensional vase with a flat feel. Due to its unique shape, it is difficult to make, and it was completed after repeated trial and error.

[Collaboration between Marianne and Seto ware]
Marianne's Seto-yaki series is supervised by a kiln in Seto-yaki, Aichi Prefecture, which has been around since the Taisho period. The author's distinctive style of "fluttering" is the handmade style, the unique "organic feel" that emerges from this, and the "an infinite atmosphere of freedom." In this collaboration, we are constantly trying to figure out how to replicate these into mass-produced models.

[About design]
Marianne's chubby vase was checked and changed clothes. This checkered vase of this shape is not found in Marianne's original work, but is an original Tonkachi design. Each edge is handwritten by a craftsman and is decorated with Marianne Blue lines. Enjoy the distortion of the shape, swaying and bleeding of the lines.

[Comments from staff]
I can't believe that "hakobukabin" will turn into a checkered pattern! It was so cute when I saw the finished product that had been improved! A loud voice in my heart blew out.
The expressions on the front and back are exquisitely different, and when you look at them all the time, they look like a tricky picture, and they are somehow strange, as expected. In the coming season, I would like to fully enjoy coordinating it with other mold bottles and many types of flowers. Chocolate bottles make choosing flowers fun, so it would be great to give them as a gift to someone who loves flowers! I think so.

[About Seto ware]
Traditional ceramics produced in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. It has long been familiar to people's lives and has been incorporated into a variety of utensils and ceramics. As it has become exported to many overseas countries, it is widely known as a representative traditional craft that brings out the appeal of "made in Japan" to the world.

[Important Notice]
*Please be sure to read

There are no "hakobukabins" identical. The Marianne Blue lines are finished with a mix of transfer and hand-drawn works, and none of them are the same. The handles, bag openings, body distortions, and glaze finishes are different, making them almost as close to handmade by artists. Individual differences in individual shapes and areas that appear to be uneven paint are not defects. With this in mind, we hope that you will enjoy the finish that is most handmade from Marianne's Setoyaki series.
