It is a chopstick rest made by arranging the shapes of Hasami ware. I want to make the zodiac figurine smaller and make it a chopstick rest, but since each has a different shape and direction, I took the time to try the shape. eventually,I settled on the shape of a semi -standing body that flatten the bottom, but because the unevenness on the surface is also different, there is no place where the chopsticks go well, it is easy to roll. It is a self -confident work.
Because it is a design that goes well with any dining table and tableware, you should be able to enjoy a lot of table coordination.

[About Hasamiyaki]
Hasamiyaki is a porcelain burned in Higashihasami -cho, Nagasaki Prefecture. It is a traditional pottery with over 400 years of history. Hasami -cho is an area with three conditions that are indispensable for the production of the pigments (trees), water (small rivers), and soil (pottery stones).
It features a deep taste of "white porcelain" and "dyeing" painted with a transparent "white porcelain" and Kureu (blue -colored pigment).
* The painting of Hasamiyaki is performed by hand by the craftsman one by one. Therefore, each point is different and the bleeding is different.
* Please refrain from using a dishwasher as the pattern may come off.
* In the manufacturing process, groove on the back.There may be dents, but there is no problem with quality.
