[About the product]
This piggy bank was designed by Lisa in 1972.

The model was then Swedish Finance Minister Gunnar Sträng. After serving as Minister of Finance for 21 years, he served as Minister of State for 31 years, and was the longest member of Parliament in Swedish history, for 52 years.

This piggy bank is designed to allow you to put coins from the book that Streng holds in his hand. There is a hole on the bottom where the coin is removed, and felt is attached to it.

At the time, this figure was widely popular in Swedish households and sold very well. There were also different coloured versions of the jacket, but they are now extremely rare items.

This is Gunnal Streng, then Minister of Finance.

This piece was born from an idea that suddenly appeared in Lisa's mind during a new product meeting. When it was produced, he didn't have any documentary photos, and he relied solely on the image of Streng that he saw on TV to create the figure.

Later, Lisa actually met her and was surprised that Mr. Streng was more slender and tall than in the piggy bank.
Anyway, they really look very similar!

As it has been around for a while since it was manufactured, there is some peeling on the felt on the back. Thank you for your understanding.
