Legendary picture book writer, M.B. Goffstein. From her early masterpiece "Umi no Mou" (original title: Across the Sea) announced in 1968, a bird flying in the sea was designed in a mug. Made of white porcelain that shines the line drawn by Goffstein. I made it with a Mino ware craftsman in Gifu Prefecture. With a dedicated BOX, perfect for gifts. If you prepare it in the series, the cupboard will be a Goffstein picture book museum!

Designed with a bird flying in the sea and an impressive title character designed on the cover of the BOX set of "Sea Muso". The title is printed on the side. In other words, this cup itself is a digest of picture books. I was conscious of conveying the fun of aligned in the series and the charm of the Goffstein line.
