この花瓶は、古代ギリシャの陶器と現代的なデザインを融合させたシリーズのひとつです。

シャモットストーンウェア（炻器/せっき）を使用し、内側は透明で光沢感のある釉薬で滑るような質感に仕上げ、外面は土の持つ自然で飾らないゴツゴツした風合いをそのまま活かし、内と外のコントラストを際立たせている。土をカンバスに見立てて手描きの絵を描くことで、余計なものが介在しない、生まれたてのまっすぐなイメージを作り出している。

外側の絵は焼成する前に筆で一気に描かれる。内側の釉薬は1250℃の高温で2度の焼成を行い、より丈夫で長持ちするように作られている。ひとつひとつ手作りのため、個体によってサイズや模様が微妙に異なります。


【INI CERAMIQUE（イニ・セラミック）】
フランス・ブルゴーニュ地方を拠点とするハンドメイドの陶磁器工房。
モンペリエの高等美術学校を卒業したInhee Maは韓国出身で、現代アート、デザイン、工芸を組み合わせた複合的な活動を展開。
彼女の陶芸作品は、花瓶、ティーポット、カップ、ボウル、皿などの装飾的な作品を目指している。ミニマルな侘び寂びの美学に基づいたコレクションを展開することで、彼女の作品はクラフトマンシップ、アート、自然との対話を生み出している。
