[About the product]
The "JURA" series consists of six unique animals. This is a ceramic made by Camel, one of them. Made from Chamotto stoneware, you can enjoy the unique texture of vintage items.

[JURA Series]

The "JURA" series was born from Lisa's unexpected idea.

The series, which was manufactured for six years from 1971 to 1977, comes in six different types: turtle, rhinoceros, lizard, buffalo, camel and cat.

After thinking about what kind of series name to organize the incomprehensible animals, a person in charge at the time named it the "JURA series."

There must have been no camels or buffaloes in the Jurassic 150 million years ago, but it has become a strange and understandable name.

*Chamot is a type of fire-resistant clay that is heated and crushed into powder. Stoneware made using chamottes (a type of ceramic that has a property that is intermediate between ceramic and porcelain) is called "Chamotte Stoneware" and is a ceramic that allows you to enjoy the natural texture of the material itself.
