[About the product]
Lisa Larson"Kokeshi no Pele" is particularly popular among JAPAN SERIES, and has become the May doll "Tango Pele-kun"!
Pelle was based on Pelle from Lisa's original work, "The Larson Family Children's Series," created between 1964 and 1980. Pele is a dignified young warrior who has maintained the impression that Pele has a particularly cheerful atmosphere in the series, but has shown a sense of growth that has been made to coincide with the Tango Festival. The "tiger" decorations are of course kokeshi made from Lisa's prototype.
This work was also created with a creative kokeshi workshop in Gunma Prefecture, which has worked on many Lisa's kokeshi so far. Based on Lisa's prototype, the kokeshi craftsman herself becomes a designer and recreates the work for kokeshi. This is a perfect celebration, as you can enjoy the warmth of wood and the brilliance of the fine decorations that are unique to handmade items.

[About design]
Pere wears a splendid helmet ornament and has a slightly proud look. He switched the cat he always holds in his hand to a gunbai, and he was somehow very proud! The tiger is also made from kokeshi, which wishes for boys' healthy growth, and accessories such as fans, jin umbrellas, and taiko drums are made in Kyoto and are made from tachirimen crafts. The gold screen and iris that come with the set can be displayed together.Lisa LarsonLet's hope for the health and growth of our children together with Nokokeshi!

[Comments from staff]
Of course, the genuine helmet decorations in a case are wonderful, but I would like to hold happy annual celebrations as casually as possible. The luxurious display stand is approximately 17.2cm wide, making it a great size that can be easily displayed anywhere. As expected from a craftsman, it was handicraftsman, and I was so impressed by the carefully crafted and the cute crepe combination that arrived before it arrived! Above all, I fell in love with Pele, a kokeshi with a very adorable expression. This May doll will be fun to display every year, hoping that children will grow up to be as good as Pele-kun.
