[About Hasamiyaki in Nagasaki Prefecture]
Hasamiyaki is a porcelain burned in Hisami -cho, Higashisonogi -gun, Nagasaki Prefecture. It is a traditional pottery with over 400 years of history. Hasami -cho is an area that has three conditions that are indispensable for production of pigments (trees), water (small rivers), and soil (pottery stones).
It features a deep taste of "white porcelain" and "dyeing" painted with a transparent "white porcelain" and Kureu (blue -colored pigment).
