Rabbit of the sea born from oyster shells
"Three rabbits" were based on rabbits of the Skansen series, which were manufactured from 1976 to 1979. This white "Umi no Rabbit" was born as a Tonkachi original work by solidifying the oyster shell of "Mortar Magic" in Tottori Prefecture.
After the SKANSEN series rabbits ended in 1979, one -rabbit pottery, which is still manufactured, appeared.
A rough texture and clean grayish white.This "three rabbits" is a mini size of about 11cm smaller than any rabbit pottery made so far.
The grace from the sea shellThis work is made by Lisa Lason, a new masterpiece of Japan Maid, based on the sustainable idea of Lisa Larson, who is conscious of the symbiosis of people and nature. In this reprint in Japan, we used Sakurajima's volcanic ash (black), oyster shells (white) in Hiroshima Prefecture, and tottori sand (tea), creating works from the ingredients in Japan.
