[About the product]

"PIPPI", which was produced from 1969 to 1971, is based on the main character Pippi of "Pippi below".

The novel "Pippi below" is a story about Swedish Children's Literature, which is published in more than 100 countries around the world.
On the boom of Pippi, which was very popular in 1969, Gustavberry asked Lisa to design to make a pottery with Nilson (chimpanzee) on his shoulder. This pottery is very difficult to reproduce the fine parts and the number of production at the time is limited, so it is a valuable work that is now rarely seen at auctions.

At the time of production, it was in the paper box, and the paper box was designed by Lisa's husband Gunnal. ( * This work does not have a paper box.)

The photo below shows the original author Astrid Lind Grain and Lisa together. Lindgrain was impressed by this work, and they began to have a close interaction.
