[About the product]
This is an original work created by Marianne herself in her atelier in Sweden.
One day, Marianne accidentally sees an image of an elephant on Instagram.
He thought to himself, ``How did he survive with such a big body and such a big nose?If it were me, I'd definitely want to be born as a cheetah or a tiger.I'd hate to be an elephant.''
However, elephants survive in nature, are not busy, and in some ways seem more peaceful than us. That appearance really caught her interest. Although she is clumsy, she seems to be caring and compassionate. I like the nature of the elephant, and I also realize that its simple and stable shape makes it very suitable for vases. Thus, in 2022, this elephant vase was born.
[About the design]
Marianne chose the theme of an elephant for the vase, and abstracted the elements of the animal to the limit, creating an elephant that would no longer be an elephant if it were done any further.
The design focuses on the elephant's most important feature, the trunk.
[Comments from staff]
When I saw this work for the first time, the words that came out of my mouth were, "It's cute!" It's a motif I've never seen before, but there was an elephant living in Marianne's world. Each vase has a different expression and no two are the same, and I think this vase allows you to fully experience Marianne's worldview.
