The original brown pony is a reprint model of the Swedish "SKANSEN" series made from 1977 to 1983. ``SKANSEN'' is an open-air museum established in 1891 on an island in Stockholm, and is a series of designs based on the animals living in the zoo inside.
Each piece is hand painted and carefully baked by Swedish craftsmen.
