This is North (Northern Eskimo) from the All World Children series that Lisa designed for the UNICEF Children's Fund. This series consists of a total of eight figures, four named Tozai Nanboku released in 1974 and four named respectively in 1975. At the time of production, a portion of the proceeds were donated to UNICEF.

This is a vintage item manufactured by Gustavsberg. Current products are still being made at Keramik Studio in Sweden. She is wearing an anorak (a traditional costume worn by Alaska Native Inuit).
*Chamotte is fireclay that is heated and crushed into powder. Stoneware made from chamotte (a type of ceramic with properties between earthenware and porcelain) is called ``chamotte stoneware,'' and it is a type of ceramic that allows you to enjoy the natural texture of the material itself.
