The Cat Papier Mat was born based on the "inupparimat" which has been popular as a lucky charm, and is a long-selling item that has been loved ever since its release.
The "bare-shaped dog paddy" covered in bamboo callions is outstanding among the many local toys in Japan, in terms of "fun", "optimism" and "friendlyness".
While maintaining the unique features of the historic Aizu Parimaki, the dog was replaced with cats.Lisa LarsonCat Papier Mache was born. The lively and pleasant cats will gently watch over your daily life.
Papier-mat is a traditional Japanese craft, but it is perfect for Nordic styles and natural spaces.
You can simply display it with just one, or display it with five of them in a lively manner, or enjoy it in your favorite style.
Bamboo caulking is a talisman that washes away diseases, and by covering the dog with a bamboo caulking, it is also a sign of the Edo people's elegance that says "dogs" with "bamboo" and "lol". Although there is no character "bamboo" in "cat", I tried wearing a bamboo corn to conform to tradition.
Being a cat with a bell is proof that it protects the house. Additionally, the power of hand-drawn faces brings about health, happiness and laughter every day.
Each piece is carefully handmade by craftsmen in a workshop in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture, and one of the charms of this product is that each of the expressions and patterns has its own unique personality.

Each painter draws the pictures by hand. Once the painted paint has dried, cover it with a bamboo colander and place it in a special small box and it's done! It will reach you from Aizu.
