This is a real-life, luxurious made-in-Sweden tiger designed by Lisa at the request of WWF (World Wildlife Fund) Sweden for its 50th anniversary. The collaboration between Lisa and WWF began around 1975 when a proposal was made by the NK department store in Stockholm. To date, Lisa has designed seven endangered species, including the lynx, peregrine falcon, and hedgehog.
[About the design]
Handmade by Japanese craftsmen Japanese tiger In contrast, ``Swedish Tora'' by Swedish craftsmen has a more realistic and luxurious finish. This is a genuine Swedish tiger, with a confident posture as it sits, a gaze that stares at you, and even the strong coat of fur that is carefully drawn with each stroke.
[Comments from staff]
It's different from the usual lovely deformation of Lisa's works, and I can feel the strength in the realistic form reminiscent of muscle bulges and the beautiful striped pattern carefully drawn with each stroke. The solid feel of a sculpture is attractive.
