Please introduce yourself in 1 minute.
Dona
Born in Scotland. She is a textile and product designer. She loves manufacturing using craft, wool, and natural materials. She never imagined that she started making animals with knits while studying at Royal College of Art, and she continued to make for 16 years (laughs). She now has a design company in London and is mainly producing interiors, knitwear and furniture.

Dona
Good people. You may not be good at self -assertion. But in business, there are times when you have to do so. A rather positive personality. The person who is still doing this job is a very blessed person. The good thing about making things is that the hands are dexterous. And where you are good at handling colors.

What were you crazy about when you were a child?
Dona
Drawing. I just drew it. I found a mischief that I found a paper. I drew people, faces, and dresses while expanding my imagination. I always had a kitten, a puppy, and leids in my house, and I often stayed with animals, so it was just fun to play together.

How did you change?
Dona
As I grew up, I was hooked on music. With the headphones always attached, I was hooked on Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana!

OddWhat made you start making strange creatures?
Dona
I wanted to make the textile I designed as a product or sell it at a store. That's the biggest reason. The first thing I made was a doll wearing clothes, but the taste changed steadily and became a strange creature.

You grew up in the countryside of Scotland, does that affect it?
Dona
The experience of growing up in the countryside has greatly affected my identity and work. In the countryside, you can see a different light from the city. That's why I feel different from other people. I can say it myself, but I think it's all the effects from that.

Do you feel that it is a very natural one?
Dona
When I go to Scotland's parents' house in summer, the weather is good, the sky is blue, there is a gentle breeze, and a lot of greenery is lively. I also love the seaside. If you feel stressed, take a walk on the beach. When I feel the wind of shaking my hair, my head is somewhat refreshing.

Speaking of "nature," we have a good image, but there are the opposite images such as natural disasters and plague. What do you think of such nature?
Dona
When you grow up on a farm, we can't help facing the circle of life, regardless of whether it's good or bad. Life is something like this ... You'll notice that you have to accept it.

Did you make a company young and create a company, but was the reality of "compromise"?
Dona
If you are doing business, you will follow the difficult phases and the challenge to overcome it. But I've never thought I should compromise. I have a big responsibility as a manager, but at the same time, I can do it freely and pull the company in the direction I want to go.

If you are making things, you may hit the wall or be too particular about one idea. How do you get over such a obstacle?
Dona
I have just experienced it recently. The design that responds to the request is really difficult. Suddenly, ideas come to mind, but they don't come out when they want. In such a case, travel. Not only is you away from everyday life, but you also find a different culture and inspiration.

Do you work with someone in mind?
Dona
In most cases, I work for myself. And I hope everyone likes it. If you don't want to wear or buy, you shouldn't make it.

The most favorite month of one year.
Dona
September. My birth month. And the end of summer. In Scotland, it is at the peak of the harvest season and I always like it.

About plants.
Dona
I've been addicted to gardening in recent years. Notice you who are very healed ... When all the plants die and forget where and what plants were raised, the plants that spring came and buds buds. I am impressed by the process every time.

What is your favorite scenery in the world?
Dona
A small fishery town called Penang brought by her grandmother when she was little. The surroundings were buckwheat on the cliff, climbing up the hill and playing. The sea and rock pools, and the sky are very good.
