"Fish for Supper" depicts the daily life of a grandmother living alone. Grandma gets up at 5:00 in the morning and goes fishing. The quiet repetition is completely tuned with nature and is full of joy of living. In a modern society, it is difficult to practice a strong and strong life, but every day she will tell you its importance and possibility.

M. B. Goffstein's 1976 work "Osakanago Rice" (original title: Fish for Suppers) depicts a single grandmother in the morning, goes fishing, eats and sleeps. Nothing happens in a big incident. However, there is no boring, and there is no "shadow of loneliness" as an old man living alone. The sun on the grandmother's head does not create a dark shadow.
Goffstein's book changes every time you read it. Five or 10 years of span, it will be a completely different book for that person. For example, "Brooky and her lamb" I read when I was a student was a bright fantasy for me. But after 10 years, it became a documentary on the difficulties of communicating between people and the difficulty of love.
