Quiet and strong, grandmother every day.

The perfect days of my grandmother who lives normally and live well.
About half a century since the announcement, M.B. Goffstein's masterpiece that has never faded. The long -awaited reissue in the new translation.
[About this book]
The legendary picture book writer, M. B. Goffstein, published in 1976, "FISH FOR SUPPER" (original title), has been reissued as "Ochango Rice" in a new translation.
Gofstein's paintings are simple lines, but they are full of emotions without losing the amount of information. Every time we turn the page, the heart is shaken like a ship floating on the lake. Grandma and us are drifting in the same time of the same landscape.
This book contains a lot of modern themes. Ecological, sustainable life, room and discipline, always enjoying and living, and old. Grandma's life gives a quiet suggestion to these themes, which has risen larger than the first edition of 1976.
"Osakana rice" is not just a child book. Rather, it is a guide for adults to look back on their lives and think about the future. You can tell why M.B Goffstein is said to be a legendary picture book writer of a lonely picture book.
