"Goldie The Dollmaker" is one of her masterpieces, published in 1969 as the fifth work of Goffstein following "Across The Sea". In the tonkachi, it is an English version of Goffstein following "Brookie and Her Lamb". Goffstein English is a simple minimum word, trying to express it deep into the human heart. The fun of reading in the original English is exceptional (I am not good at English, but I can still enjoy it). The Japanese version is published by the modern planning room as the translation of Chieko Suemari, so if you are interested, please see it.
In this English version of the tonkachi, instead of reprinting the original English version of "Goldie The Dollmaker", the picture has been replaced with a newly discovered colored front line drawing, renewed the overall design, and is completely new. I made an English version. In addition, a separate volume of Japan's original project was made and a set of 2 books was made. The content of the separate volume is an illustration collection that cuts out only props and props that appear in the story. I think you can enjoy the charm of Goffstein from another angle.
In addition to the regular version introduced here (an English version and a set of two books), a BOX set with a bonus (stuffed animal and linen bag) is also available on the regular version.

Since the original English version design is almost the same as the Japanese version currently published, Tonkachi has designed a new English version. The picture selected on the cover is also different from the original version, and the first scene of the story is cut out and foiled on the cover of the cloth. The picture in the text was changed to that because I found a line drawing before coloring. If you have an original English or Japanese version, you can enjoy it. The size is a size that can be arranged in line with the already published English version, "Brookie and Her Lamb / Brooky and her lamb (English version)".

I made a separate volume with Japanese original content. I imagine a DVD bonus video and a CD bonus track. The content is an outline of the story in Japanese, and an illustration collection like a props picture book that collects props that appear in the story. This picture book adopted the idea of a rookie staff, and when I cut out the picture book props, it was very cute and everyone was very excited and became this book. I would be happy if I could share this frustrating feeling.

I have always liked this book, and I felt that all the contents written in this book were all about work, manufacturing, and living. I felt that the way of life that I couldn't speak was drawn, and I was very empathized by the hero of Goldy and thought, "I'm with me." But this time, I found out that this book was newly found that my emotional transfer was mainly "weakness" in goldie. When I read this time, the Goldy is actually strong.
