The gallery "No Kogiri" will hold a work exhibition by Swedish potter Lisa Larson.
Lisa is an artist who is also known for the graphic design, including the cat's "Mikey", but this solo exhibition is an exhibition focusing on her main business, pottery work.
On the other hand, Lisa also produces a lot of points, but "I naturally know where to make it in a factory. It's my special ability." As said, her genius is the mass -produced product made in the factory.
She has created tremendous freedom from her commercial mass production. This exhibition follows the trajectory of a genius dream that never lost her pride and passion as an expressionist.
In this exhibition, her masterpieces will be exhibited and sold, mainly vintage and current pottery works. In addition, the prototype before mass production, which was unpublished, will also be exhibited (this is the only exhibition).
Related products with pottery works as motifs and Japanese -produced ceramics will be sold.
In the venue, Mika Sasaki, an art director, will write a comment on the 2024 "Day Calendar" for 366 days. This will make you feel deeper in the life and environment of the author Lisa Larson.
