The base of the "three rabbits" was the rabbit of the Skansen series, which was manufactured from 1976 to 1979. Unlike other animal works of Lisa, it is a stylish modeling with stubbornness and humor in a crisp appearance. When reprinting in Japan, we used Sakurajima's volcanic ash (black), oyster shells (white) in Hiroshima Prefecture, and tsutori sand (tea) to create works using nature in Japan. Lisa's masterpiece has been completed as a new work through a modern Japanese collaboration.

* Each of the three rabbits uses different natural materials, so their sizes are slightly different. The actual rabbit is not the same. Rinriri (Ririri) when three birds are arranged is exceptional.

We recycle and solidify the oysters (oysters) shells that are thrown away. In Hiroshima Prefecture, which accounts for about 60 % of oysters (oysters) of oysters (oysters) from all over Japan, it ships about 20,000 tons a year, but there are also unnecessary oyster shells. In Mortar Magic in Tottori Prefecture, the oyster shell, which had to be discarded, is reused and shaped.

Sea rabbit (white)

It is made by reusing oyster shells in Hiroshima Prefecture, which are usually discarded. A rough texture and clean grayish white. The sparkling grains in some places look like water drops.

We make volcanic ash in Sakurajima in Kagoshima Prefecture. Although the ash drop in Sakurajima, which has repeatedly erupted activities, is once a few weeks, or a few times a day, the processing of volcanic ash is a major problem. In Mortar Magic in Tottori Prefecture, volcanic ash is reused and modeled.

Passion rabbit (black)

It is made by reusing volcanic ash in Sakurajima in Kagoshima Prefecture. "Rabbit of passion" was born from a volcano, a symbol of natural power and a threat. Black with a matte texture calmly calms your feelings while having a solid feeling.

The sand in the Tottori Sand Dunes (outside the national park) is made as raw materials. Mortar Magic and Lisa Larson, Tottori Prefecture, which have their own technology to solidify the powder, have started collaboration with "Tottori Norakuda", creating all eight works up to "3 rabbits". 。

Travel rabbit (tea)

It is made of the same raw material as "Tottori Rakuda", which reuses sand in the Tottori Sand Dunes. There is probably an oasis beyond the sand, so the rabbit of the trip goes on a journey. After that, the rabbits of the sea and passion will follow. I made it with such an image.

3 rabbit sets

All three sets: rabbits of the sea (white), passion rabbit (black), and travel rabbits (tea). It is a work that is solidified with the unique technology of a venture company in Tottori Prefecture as a raw material of oyster shells, volcanic ash, and sand dunes. Check that the nuances of the work change depending on the difference in the material, such as the creature. Ideal for charm.

Skansen rabbit

"Rabbit" appeared as one of the zoo series called "Skansen" in Sweden from 1977 to 1983. "Skansen" is an outdoor museum established in Stockholm in 1891, and is made up of animals living in the zoo in it.

* The first from the left: The rabbit of "SKANSEN" designed in 1976 and manufactured until 1979.

* 2nd from the left: Current product currently on sale. This is also a work that craftsmen are hand -colored one by one in a Swedish Keramic Studio, and it has reappeared a little smaller.

* 3rd to 5th from the left: "3 Rabbit" series.

What is Mortar Magic?

According to the homepage, it is a "company that shares in love." It seems to be a company that is the mission of "changing the form of various materials and providing new value to society." In other words, by changing the shape of various materials, it is a company that makes magic that makes something more loved. They love not only local Tottori sand, but also large problems such as Kumamoto's volcanic ash and pumice that drifted to Okinawa. However, even though the activities are very serious, we feel the air of the joke even if we do it, which has the name of the company name Mortar Magic. But after all, this is a magic! I'm convinced. I never knew in Japan that there was such a company, with the spirit of jokes and doing both serious and business. Really Sukubarashii. I long for it. I'm going to say the company we met to meet!
