Nippon's hedgehog.

"Nippon's Hedgehog." Is the fourth original work reprinted in Japan with the vintage work of Lisa Larson. Until now, STim (plate / Arita ware / 2017), children (bronze, Takaoka copperware / 2020), Tottori (Sand statue / Tottori / 2022), and Japan have jumped over the land and genre. The journey finally arrived at Mashiko ware in Tochigi Prefecture, where Lisa Larson loved. This is the first pottery in Japan, a vintage reprint work "Nippon no Hari -rinmi".

Based on Lisa's representative masterpiece "Hedgehog", which was made in 1979, Lisa's own direction has made the size more compact and created a prototype from zero. The finish was a traditional glaze peculiar to Mashiko ware at the request of Lisa. This deep color is the ideal color in her, where Lisa has fallen in love until now, and this is her.

The body's needle is completely deformed, reminiscent of the head of the Great Buddha rather than a needle. And it cannot be forbidden to stroke by hand. If you have got this, you will continue to stroke. The real rhizen has a needle to threaten, but this rhizen has a needle to relieve human hearts. I guess he really wanted to do that. Lisa always gets into the hearts of various animals, faces and conversations, and comes out of the real shape. The real shape taken out of the heart of the rhizen was a gentle shape like such a great Buddha. Please put your palm on "Nippon's Hedgehog." That feeling after a long absence should come in.

The rare vintage, Gustavsberg, Endangered Animal Series, "Hedgehog", has been newly reborn in Japanese Mashiko ware.
"Masukoyaki" is a pottery around Mashiko -cho, Tochigi Prefecture, which has a history from the end of the Edo period. I was fascinated. This time, the vintage work "hedgehog" was resized to Japan size, and a new gray was produced using the glaze "persimmon glaze", which Lisa loves.
